Lock C Barge Site Improvements Project

Tasked by the Nashville District Army Corps of Engineers, The project included hauling and spreading roughly 14,000 tons of limestone, cast-in-place concrete barge tie downs, and installing about 2,000 linear foot of chainlink fence for added security. This site will be used by the 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky to deploy large amounts of military vehicles and heavy equipment by barge.

Fort Polk Airfield Test Section

Tasked by the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), within the Expedient and Expeditionary Airfield Damage Repair (E-ADR) Program, to develop, test, and demonstrate an expeditionary crater repair process, E & L Construction Group assisted the Airfield and Pavements Branch of the US Army Engineer Research & Development Center (ERDC) out of Vicksburg, MS with the construction of a concrete Airfield Test Section. At nearly the size of a football field, the test section consisted of 1,550 cubic yards of 12 and 18-inch thick concrete sections to simulate an airfield runway.

Lake Darling Stoplogs & Lifting Beam (Minot, ND)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul, Minnesota District has a requirement for the removal of damaged bulkheads, fabrication and installation of six new bulkheads at Lake Darling Dam. E & L Construction Group has been awarded as the Prime Contractor.
